Frequently
asked questions
Why
should you choose Ewan Baxter Photography?

Ewan has worked as a sports photographer. The skills
Ewan gained whilst learnt from the fast pace of sports
means that he does not miss much if its going on in
front of him! Now with many years of wedding photography
under his belt Ewan will ensure all the moments of your
day will be captured, from the application of the bride's
make-up through to the meal. All will be recorded with
minimal fuss
What
is your wedding rate?

Various packages are available and a price list is available
from the Packages link. Each of the packages can be
adapted to suit each individual's taste and requirements.
Ewan makes a point of meeting with every couple prior
to the big day for a consultation, not only to discuss
what is required, but also to build a rapport with the
couple. Ewan finds this a good way of working as it
enables the bride and groom to feel at ease, safe in
the knowledge that they know he will be getting every
thing they want from the day. If it's not possible to
meet then Ewan takes time to get to know the couple
as much as possible before the big day.
Where
are you located, and do you charge travel costs?

Ewan will travel anywhere for your big day. He is based
in Tobermory, Argyll. Weddings within a 75 mile radius
& within the central belt will not incur any costs,
however, if the wedding requires significant travel
or overnight accommodation a modest change maybe incurred.
Do
you photograph "Formal" or group shots?

Though Ewan works in a reportage style, all the memories
of the day would not be complete without some group
shots. He will often call on the Best Man and Ushers
to gather the appropriate guests for these shots, ensuring
that this is done in the quickest possible time enabling
you to get on and enjoy yourself.
Should
I provide a list of must have photos?

All of your requirements can be discussed at the time
of booking and Ewan likes to meet up approximately 1
month before the wedding, to go over the outline of
the day and your photographic requirements.
Do
you shoot film or digital?

Digital, I took the leap from film in 2002 and wouldn't
look back, The images are stored and backed up &
all images are printed on photographic paper, not laser
printed that will be archiveable for years to come.
How
do we view our images?

Your wedding images will be available to view within
a maximum of four weeks of your wedding. The on-line
gallery can either be password protected or left 'open'
to view to all your friends and family. Within your
image gallery, a secure on-line payment facility is
available for your families and guests to order prints
directly to themselves. All images are available in
this way for approximately one year from the month of
the wedding, but they are archived indefinitely and
